-51 degrees F. in North Pole, Alaska

Do you want to know what it is like....Well it is very cold.
Today, there will be no outdoor activities. Just stay inside and stay warm.
Make sure you have communications with the outside world and the heater stays on.
It is days like this that I wish we lived in a condo. Living where there are no neighbors and where we have all this privacy is not an asset at -51F.
So far the water hasn't frozen and the septic line is still working.

Yes it is a bit cold and desolate here. For entertainment we have cable TV and a female Pomeranian dog that keeps us on our toes. Also we walk around the nearby lake in the snow and look for grouse and just look. Actually this is an ideal environment for programming the Code book. I have been told that there are few Adobe programmers living down by Gold Creek about half way between Healy and Anchorage on the Alaska Railroad. They have Satellite Internet service with StarBand. It was the Star Band field engineer that told me about them.
